Completed set of images! Very special thanks to my friends who allowed me to use their faces for this project!

Last one!

Added my friend Dani to the mix. Just one more image left to go. I've decided to overlay the images with gemstone images for the background and added texture.

I wanted to get some more of my friends involved with this last project. I'm just doing some geometric face mapping and choosing a single color to use as a pallet. I plan on having at least two other images. Part of my process is collaborating with the individual to decide what shapes they want the most on the face. I also plan on asking them to choose what they would want as the background. Hoping to throw around a few ideas from stained glass to realistic prints.

Just found it online. Planning on doing a series of these grid faces, but I plan on coloring in the different segments. Might be a series of self portraits or a self portrait and some portraits of friends.

This certainly isn't the final image, but I thought it might be neat to combine the idea of "too much to do" with the feeling of observed isolation. I got this idea from my own personal experiences. I just feels like I'm being pressured to work on these small things for a period of time and not get a break. Sometimes I isolate myself in my room, not necessarily working, but I still feel this outside pressure from those who want to see me succeed. This is not necessarily a good feeling all the time. I'm planning on developing this idea more with a better set of images and a better surreal depiction.

Real quick, thrown together image. Decided to take a change in direction. I want to create an image that portrays the passing of time with too much to do. I'll eventually be taking multiple pictures of myself in my dorm room doing a variety of activities, and then I'll lay those images on top of each other. I'm hoping to make it look as if there were multiple me's doing various chores, such as homework and laundry, but then also checking my self in the mirror, working on the computer, taking a nap, maybe talking with friends. I'm hoping to make it look as if this is happening either in one day or during a series of days, with different outfits showing the different days.

Final Image for Third Project

Trying to expand on the first image

So, this is a pretty weird image. I'm still not entirely sure what direction I want to go in, but I have several layers of the unaltered image to play around with.

So, this is kind of the same concept as the previous picture. I've decided to move away from the T.V. monitor idea and went for the computer monitor idea. The idea that I'm going for is the whole Mac vs. PC. It seems that sometimes there's people who only use Mac's and others who only use PC's, and there's no way that either will ever use the other computer model. I haven't finished the whole image yet, but it'll look like their having a conversation.

Monitor Head

This is just a prototype as to what I want to do with this project. I plan to take pictures of friends in various situations to where they're interacting with each other and I'll eventually replace their human heads with monitor images.

This is my initial image to use in this first project of ours. The plan is to use various monitors like TV and computer monitors and use them to replace the head on a human figure. This is my own television, and I'm hoping to collect more photos of other monitors to use for this project.
